NHS Walsall CCG is committed to meeting the statutory requirements of the FOI Act and has adopted the Information Commissioners Office’s (ICO) Model Publication Scheme.
The Publication Scheme is not an exhaustive list of all the types of information that we publish – our policy is to publish proactively as much information as we can where the information would have a wider public interest. The scheme does not include information that we consider to be sensitive, such as certain types of commercial or personal information.
The NHS Walsall CCG Publication Scheme is designed to signpost individuals to information we proactively release as and when it becomes available. The Publication Scheme contains seven classes of information, as follows, and information falling into each of these classes is published on our website:
If you would like any information available in our Publication Scheme in other languages or formats, such as easy read or large print, then please contact us at walsallccg.cggcomms@nhs.net or call 01922 618388.
If you cannot find what you want through this scheme or otherwise on our website, you can find out how to make a Freedom of Information request here.
Walsall Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) commissions health services on behalf of the patients it serves. The CCG and its GP member practices work together collaboratively to fulfil the purpose of the CCG. The CCG’s Constitution sets out how the organisation is governed and how commissioning decisions are made.
Walsall CCG is committed to meeting Government transparency requirements in relation to how we spend the money we are given. As part of this, we will periodically publish information on the payments we have made that are over £25,000.
Information about our priorities and how we are doing will be made available here as it is produced. If the information you require is not available here, please see how you can make a Freedom of Information request to obtain the information here.
It is important that we follow national and local guidance on how we make our decisions on Commissioning (planning and funding) health and care so that you can access the best possible services. By following an agreed process we can ensure that our decisions are fair and transparent. This means you can hold us to account and make sure that we are delivering the best possible health services for you and your family.
Our policies and procedures are current written protocols for delivering our functions and responsibilities, and can be divided into the following sections.
Information held in registers required by law and other lists and registers relating to the functions of the organisation.
Information about the services the CCG commissions and offers will be made available here as it is produced.
If you require any of the documents in an alternative format, please get in touch.
