Our Urgent Care Centre - Here for you every day

In Walsall we have our Urgent Care Centre and at the Walsall Manor Hospital site. This service provides fast, expert care for injuries and illnesses that are urgent but not life-threatening, including:

  • cuts, burns and bites
  • sprains, fractures and sports injuries
  • fevers, infections and rashes
  • minor illnesses

Urgent Care Centres are available for anyone who has an illness or injury that is not life-threatening but too urgent to wait for a routine appointment with their GP.

Our centre is run by a team of highly-skilled GPs and Specialist Nurses, who are experienced at diagnosing and treating a wide range of minor injuries and illnesses. For example, they can treat sprains, burns, bites or stings, assess and treat wounds and request x-rays.

How to find our Urgent Care Centre

Our Urgent Care Centre (UCC) is based on the site of the Manor Hospital, as the map below shows, however the access to our UCC specifically is through Wilbraham Road. This is instead of heading for Car Park B directly off of Moat Road. By using Wilbraham Road, following signs pointing to ‘Accident and Emergency’ and ‘Urgent Care Centre’, you’ll be able to find Visitors Car Park D. This gives you a shorter distance to the entrance to our Urgent Care Centre.
